I was born in the parish and have lived in the area all my life. I have two children and my daughter and her family live in the parish and three generations have attended Hankham School. I work for the County Library Service. I have been a Westham Parish Councillor for nearly eight years.
I am a traditionalist who would like to maintain the community ethos of our parish, but I am also a realist and accept that change, particularly in the expansion of housing is inevitable, but hope that an informed council can ensure that this is as sympathetic to the area as possible.Theresa Bruce Register of Members Interests

I have lived in the village of Westham over 40 years. During those years I’ve seen many changes in the parish not all for the better. From a construction site manager in the late 80s I joined E.S.C.C. moving into the public sector as a Clerk of Works. In the late 90s as part of their design services externalisation I was transferred to Owen Williams and later to Amey P.L.C. Whilst working for Amey I developed my career as a H&S adviser. Although retired I retain my membership of The Institute of Clerk of Works and Construction Inspectorate and The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. Now I have retired the knowledge I have acquired in my working life can be put to good use whilst serving as a Parish Councillor.Gerry Garner Register of Members Interests
